Are there homeless shelters in Hawaii?

Yes. Perhaps the most well-known shelter is Honolulu\'s Institute for Human Services, which has a 250-person men\'s shelter and a 150-person women and family shelter, and serves as many as 7,000 meals a week. But, there are shelters and programs on most islands. The federal U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) seems to have a good, up-to-date list posted online.
