Case Details: Back in October, I went to the Maui Fest and bought a shirt that had"AINOKEA" on it. I know they sell it on Oahu, but where?
"AINOKEA" (local pidgin for "I don't care") is technically the trademark and company name of an apparel company based in Lahaina, Maui, and owned by one Mark L. Osedo (according to the state Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs). Presumably, Maui would be your best source for the genuine article.
We have it on good authority, however, that popular "AINOKEA" products - including bumper and window stickers - are widely available in surf and skate shops and local clothing stores across the state. Whether or not these are brand-name articles or knockoffs will be up to you to determine.
